You bought a WordPress theme and you can’t add any widgets to menu, you want to customize the menu with widgets and you don’t want to mess up with the theme code. Or maybe you have the same problem I had to add wpml language switcher widget to the menu but it is not showing. So don’t worry at all in this post I will show you a very simple steps that will take you less than 5 minutes of how to add any widget to menu in WordPress without code.

1. INSTALL AND RUN THE WIDGETS IN MENU PLUGIN

First of all you will need to install and run the widgets in menu plugin, you can either install it through you wordpress plugins page or manually if you don’t know how to do that you can read my tutorial of how manually install plugins via ftp. If you already know just skip this step.

2. SELECT WIDGETS TO MENU AREA

Now that you have installed and activated widgets in menu plugin you need to go to Appearance>Menus

Following the steps in the attached picture.

Boom! you will find a new widget area for menu so you can add widgets, just drag there any widget you want and save.

3. GO TO MENUS AND ADD ANY WIDGETS TO MENU

Once you have selected the widgets you need to go to Appearance>Menus

And add the widgets to menu, following the steps in the pictures.

Just Add your widget to any menu, like you add pages or posts.

4. THAT’S ALL!
